Director, Chrissy Jay is a British, London based, freelance general and project Manager in the arts and charity sectors. She has worked with companies including Independent Opera at Sadler’s Wells, the British Council theatre and dance department, Stanley Arts, Whitechapel Gallery and the City of London Festival, focusing on live performance events. Her work with Independent Opera included producing staged chamber opera performances at the Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler’s Wells, commissions, concerts and recitals including the premiere of Joby Talbot’s A Sheen of Dew on Flowers, as well as running support programmes and events for emerging artists. For the British Council she coordinated international touring projects and was particularly involved in the international legacy from the Unlimited Festival of work by Deaf and disabled artists.
